I am a PhD candidate with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation and the Australian Catholic University Thomas More School of Law. My doctoral thesis examines the regulation of online intermediaries for copyright infringement by their users.

I research in intellectual property law, primarily copyright law, media and communications law, and open access. I have worked as a research officer for the Open Access to Knowledge (OAK) Law Project and for Creative Commons Australia. I have taught intellectual property and media law to law students (both undergraduate and postgraduate) and journalism students at the Queensland University of Technology and I have guest lectured for film students at Griffith University.

I am interested in creative opportunities for young people and I sit on the Board of Youth Arts Queensland Inc.
