Kylie Pappalardo is a PhD Candidate at the Australian Catholic University Thomas More School of Law and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation. She holds degrees in law and creative writing from the Queensland University of Technology and a Masters of Law from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., where she was awarded the Thomas B. Chetwood S.J. prize for the best GPA in the general LLM program. Kylie has taught intellectual property and technology law, media law and jurisprudence to undergraduate students in both law and the creative industries. Kylie has worked with the Arts Law Centre of Qld, the Open Access to Knowledge (OAK) Law Project and Creative Commons Australia. She currently sits on the board of Youth Arts Queensland Inc.
